Can you disable how firefox deletes an old entry of a website in history upon reloading the page?

I have a Youtube video in a open tab and upon restarting and restoring the page, it reloads and tells me that the video was removed. I tried to look in the history to see what the video was called, however, it turns out that when reloading the page, no matter how old the tab is, it will remove the old history entry of when you first visited the site. Is there any way to stop, or set a time limit, to this behaviour?

You would have to open a New Private Window and check the link(s) in this PB mode window to prevent creating a new history entry. Older history visits are still kept to make it possible to calculate the visit count, but are hidden and you can't see them in Firefox.
