Firefox hangs does not access internet
The Firefox page opens and hangs. the menu opens but clicking on anything does nothing.

we received a number of similar reports about Firefox on Win10, running in a compatibility mode with win7. Can you check compatibility settings in firefox.exe properties?

Yes, unchecking the compatibility mode allows firefox to open normally.
Looks like a widespread problem with Firefox 70s being incompatible with Win 7 Compatibility Mode or on Windows 7 system like mine.
