Does it look better if you set View/Headers to Normal? That is separate from whether you can send mail.

Ik begrijp de zin niet. Waar staat in Thunderbird de tab View/ Headers en dan Normal De e-mail gaan wel in en uit maar bij doorsturen komt er een scherm met veel acabacabra boven aan

Onder de 3 regels van een bericht (Van, Onderwerp en Aan) staan nog 3 regels met de titels : Bericht ID, In antwoord op en Referenties met rare gegevens. Dat gebeurt alleen op mijn desktop. Niet op mijn laptop.

Where in Thunderbird is the View / Headers tab and then Normal The e-mail will go in and out, but when forwarding, a screen with a lot of acabacabra will appear at the top Under the 3 lines of a message (From, Subject and To) there are 3 more lines with the titles: Message ID, In reply to and References with strange data. That only happens on my desktop. Not on my laptop. See previously sent screenshots.

I don't know the Dutch words, but look under the View menu as in the attached picture. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with View is hidden.
