IMAP Downloads all emails everytime i launch
Hi I have a few different email account personal and work only one of them is imap, have have recently moved to a new machine and used a backup programme to migrate my emails to new machine, since then everytime i launch Thunderbird the imap account redownload all 1200 emails. Obviously my question is how do i stop this from happening

You could try rebuilding the Inbox, by deleting the mbox and msf files, then restarting TB to create new ones and download from the IMAP server, hopefully only once:

Check that your antivirus excludes the TB profile folder, in case it is introducing some corruption.
