auto translate pages
in all chromium based browsers like edge,Chrome or brave there is an option to auto translate the page to English...however in firefox no such option..please add this feature..
for some pages I had to switch to other browser to translate which is not right if you want your users to stay in firefox only

Hi
This is not so much a Chromium issue, more of an ability to provide high quality translation in browser. Mozilla is a much smaller organisation than Google, but we still give access to in browser translation through add-ons, localising our software and hopefully through projects such as Mozilla Common Voice.
this is fine for desktop browser but what about mobile browser? no option to add any add on other than ublock..also the auto translate add ons in add on store are not rich and good as Chrome or edge.. it opens the translated page in a new window instead of translating in current window....chromium is a open source project...Chrome and new chromium edge probably implemented the feature from Chromium...so is it not possible to use the code or something in your browser too considering it is an open source project...not sure just a thought.... this is one of the most important feature which is available in chrome since the beginning but till now not present in Firefox desktop or mobile version.
Hi Sheikh
As mentioned previously, Mozilla is a smaller organisation headcount wise to be able to do everything that a much larger organisation does (although you are welcome to join us to help us try). Instant website translation is not currently a feature, but may be included in a future update.
Not a developer else would have helped you :) There was an add-on which was behaving like Chrome however this add on installation is now blocked. The source code is available in github. So is it possible that you can re-use and make it official...
Hi Sheikh
Add-ins for Firefox for Android are developed and supported by a community of independent developers.
