Dark theme
Hi, I'm using Thunderbird 68.8.0 (32-bit) on Windows 10. My work account is based off gmail. I tried switching to the dark theme- but it seems the emails themselves still appear in a white background with the dark text. Tested for plain text mails, calendar invites as well.
Does anyone know of a workaround to get a true dark mode on actual emails as well? Thanks !

"Display" no longer exists what now? I have my Windoes 10 set to dark theme which is great but when emails come in with the text specified to black you get black text on dark background which makes them unreadable! There should be a way to either override the text colour or the backround colour to be able to read these emails none of the Thunderbird settings, themes or controls allow for a way to solve this!

In TB 78, it's under Options/General/Language & Appearance. But if you update to 78.1, you may find some of the issues with dark themes are corrected.
I have set the read messages color to gray but when switching windows 10 taskbar tabs from Firefox with the more dark background to Thunderbird there is a bright white flash before the gray loads. This is a very critical flaw which needs to be fixed.
PITA Dark Theme!
When I hit reply to an existing email the background is dark and I can't read the thing I'm replying to. Nor can I find a way to turn this off.
