Is it possible to import GnuPG keys in a fresh install of Thunderbird 78 without Enigmail?

I upgraded from Thunderbird 68 (Windows, Enigmail installed) to Thunderbird 78 and it somehow worked through a migration assistant window.

Now I am trying to configure a fresh installed and configured Thunderbird 78 (Linux, Enigmail not installed) and have the new OpenPGP support in Thunderbird 78, but I cannot find how to get it. To be precise, Thunderbird ist directly download from https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/ and is not packaged from the Linux distribution.

Hello everyone!

More precisely, under "Account settings" and "End-to-end cryptography" it is possible to configure S/MIME, but not OpenPGP. I could import S/MIME certificate (if I had one). It seems not possible to import GnuPG keys.

In the mean time I found a solution.

First, I had to set (manually) mail.openpgp.enable in the configuration editor as true.

Then, it was possible to import in "Account settings" and "End-to-end cryptography" the required keys. The keys were exported (manually) from GnuPG with the command gpg --armor --export and gpg --armor --export-secret-keys (I guess a key manager would work as well).
