Hello, How does one clear remembered saved file locations. For example I saved a bunch of files to a directory called Nature. Later on I want to save some space images but when I click to save the image, it automatically goes to Nature. How do I clear it so it will ask me where to save the files to?

Thank you!

Select Save As.

Hello, thanks for the reply! I'm not sure I described it right, I'm trying to clear the "save to" history. When I do the "Save As", Firefox will jump to a directory that I don't want to save the file in. Is there a way to have FF point to a default directory for image files?

I don't know. There might be an add-on that can help.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

This is probably part of the Site Preferences.

If you only want to remove site specific data for a specific host then maybe use "Forget About This Site".

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
