I had to turn off my anti-virus app for a few minutes. When I turned it back on I had apparently been hit by at least one virus.

One of these viruses attacked my Firefox search settings. All of my search engines in Options->Search have disappeared and I cannot reinstall them. I have attached a screenshot for your enjoyment.

AVG did find several viruses and says they were eliminated. It also installed AVG SafeSearch. However, when trying to search using that engine, nothing happens...like I click search and there is no response at all.

It also appears that it has affected my ability to use Firefox Support in Firefox as I tried to submit this question and it crashed Firefox....not I have to use...<cough><Gag>Chrome.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Cancel all that...I used the Refresh Firefox option and everything is back to the default. Now to re-customize...again.

That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this can help others with similar problems.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
