RE Firefox for Android 81.1.1

1. PLEASE MAKE FIREFOX for Android MOVEABLE TO EXTERNAL SD STORAGE. MANY users can't install or keep Firefox because of low internal storage. Make it moveable, PLEASE. I have 16GB internal storage and can't keep applications installed. Then I have 128GB external storage I can't use. My other cell phones w 8GB, couldn't even consider installing Firefox for Android.

2. Manual update of Firefox for Android is hidden, convoluted, & difficult. Also entirely different from easy update checkup for Android for Windows. I'm not sure if Firefox for Android even auto-updates because my version was way out-of-date when I manually updated it.

Thanks. Scott J. Loyal multi-platform Firefox user.

Hi Scott

Thank you for your feedback.

We do our best to make the application as small as possible without removing features we know people like and use and we keep this under review and do look at on a regular basis. We are also shipping our independent GeckoView engine to help provide you with a better mobile browser that does increase the app size.

Moving the app to an SD card may be something that we may considering looking at again in the future, but I do know that this was removed from Firefox for Android quite a few years ago now as it made the app unstable.

With regards to updates, it is not the app that is doing the updating, but the Google Play store app on your device looking for updates for the apps that you have installed on your device (all of them) and applying updates where they are available.

I hope that this helps.
