No long press menu appearing in downloads to delete a specific download or multiple downloads
I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Android.
I downloaded a file which I eventually thought is of no use so I thought that it should be deleted. For that, I tried to delete it from the downloads section of the app itself.
But I noticed that no file(s) could be deleted from the application because the long press menu functionality is not working. Furthermore, there is no option to delete multiple downloads at once by selecting them from the list itself.
I have attached a screenshot under this post. I tired to delete the last file by long pressing it. But nothing happened. However if I enable the "External Download Manager", I am able to delete or love the files. But that's obviously increasing steps unnecessarily for a simple task. Please have a look over it and you will understand how there is no response when I tried to use a normal functionality.
Thank You. Kind Regards, VIVEK RAO ANAND

You just have to wait 2 months for the release of 84, or install the Nightly version from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.fenix

You need to see this page..

The user reports the same issue.. Download page in Mozilla Firefox for Android has serious bugs and needs an urgent overhaul.
This bug is a critical dissuader from using Firefox for Android. I can easily use better feature on other web browsers like Chrome, Opera and others.
I hope I don't have to uninstall Firefox. Furthermore, the support community is way too unresponsive.
It's fixed in version 84: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/352#issuecomment-722421196
For your kind information, I am talking about Firefox for Android. And as you're saying that it has been fixed in version 84. However, the officially released version in India through Play Store is version 82.
Now, how do I download version 84!

Ohhh that's great.
Just one more thing, can we keep both stable and experimental version on this phone without any potential conflicts?
I don't know, I'm using only the Nightly version. But there shouldn't be any conflicts.
Okay. Thanks for your valuable information. My query stands settled.
