Email accounts
I have been using Thunderbird for several years. On the afternoon of Nov 2 my email stopped coming in. Let me start from the beginning - I used to have a Bellsouth account and my Email was @bellsouth.net. This migrated to AT&T and they supported my account. I no longer have an AT&T phone nor an account. Yes AT&T and Thunderbird provided support to my @bellsouth.net Email I have searched/looked through the Thunderbird blog and the closest thing I can find to my problem deals with "security protocol". I called and talked with AT&T technical support. they could not tell me what TLS version they used or what my Email account had. So I went to Thunderbird Support and changed my "security.tls.version.min" to "1". I closed and restarted Thunderbird and I still have the problem, no incoming mail. HELP

AT&T requires secure mail keys in place of account passwords in programs like TB. If you remove the old password from Options/Privacy & Security/Passwords, restart TB and enter a key when prompted, does that work?
In TB I went to Options/Privacy & Security/Password and I removed all passwords. I was not prompted to enter a key. I was prompted to enter a master password. I did. I restarted TB. My problem (no new inbound mail) remains. I went back and removed the master password. I restarted TB. My problem (no new inbound mail) remains. A
The master password is for protecting access to Saved Passwords, but in TB 78 there is a new feature where you must enter your Windows user account password to access Saved Passwords. That makes master passwords unnecessary. If you did remove all passwords, you should have been prompted to enter a password (mail key) when TB restarted. What are your server settings for the bellsouth account?

Have you created a secure mail key as requested by AT&T?
If no, then create one. If yes, then remove the stored pasword in Thunderbird, restart Thunderbird and at the prompt to enter password, enter the 'secure mail key' which you created.
