Voice Control on MacOS
Hi,
I am writing with hopes to use Apple's Voice Control accessibility feature with Firefox on MacOS.
Due to some repetitive injuries of the past, I find it painful to use a mouse and keyboard. Apple's Voice Control feature has been quite helpful for me to manage my pain. While it works fine on Safari, it unfortunately does not work on Firefox. In particular, I'm referring to the "show numbers" command. In Safari (and most other apps/UIs) Voice Control will display an assigned number to every clickable link/field/menu-item. Upon voicing the desired number, Voice Control will select that link/field/menu-item. Firefox does not function in this way.
I am wondering if this is something Apple will need to address, if it's a feature that Mozilla will need to implement, or if there is a fix some great wizard can share with me! I do very much prefer Firefox over Safari.
Kind regards,

I just bought a new Mac, and I am learning to use voice control, and voice control does not work two dictate into appropriate text boxes with FireFox. I have verified with Apple support but this is not 100% a FireFox problem, because it turns out the voice control is very iffy in multiple non-Apple programs (Photoshop, BBEdit). But the biggest problem for my uses is lack of function with with Firefox.
Are there any FireFox settings that can be adjusted to increase the chances of success with voice control?
Now on macOS Monterey 12.0.1 and FireFox beta channel 94.0.
Forgot to add: sometimes it works if I start some dictation in an open textedit file, and then switch to they already open browser window and text box in Firefox.
