I'm trying to figure out why Google Play Store does not open or let me gain access unless I go through the "ritual" of deleting the cache in the app & also in the Google Play Services app & then restart my device. Then I only gain access for "one" attempt & I have to repeat the steps, of deleting the cache in both apps & restarting, I call it the ritual now.

Hi

What happens when you try to update Firefox for Android from the official Google Play store application installed on your Android device?

Hello, Once I go through the ritual,Firefox updates without an issue. I have just started an update for Firefox & I'm still waiting for it to finish. I am just troubleshooting currently,I don't think it's a Firefox problem, a lot of folks have had this issue going on for over a year.

I heard it may be related to my VPN from Nord, but I can't find anything to justify that opinion. I had the box checked next to the Video Manager option in the settings of Firefox without knowing why & what that function is, so I thought I'd ask because it seems, from what I've been reading through the info online & at Firefox, maybe there might be a connection to me checking that box & the Play Store going bonkers, phone is about 6 months old now, (Moto Power-G 2021) that turning it off can assist some issues people are having or can make things worse. So I'm just on a fact finding mission, plus shooting at some fish in a barrel hoping I'll discover the cause & the fix by accident.

I've gotten in the mode of operating in a defeatest mindset, so I have come to accept that to access the Google Play Store, I'm going to be highly inconvienced & attempt to keep my chin up & go into the app do what I need to do & get out. There's no issues with the apps on my phone, other than Google P.S. is not very convenient to use. So I stack up things I need to do, go through my ritual of cache deleting, etc... Then gain entry to the app & go about performing each task I've stacked up to do. Updating is always a big task to get through. Tonight I had new apps I downloaded for some projects I'm doing for my cabaret act & videos I wanna get more adept at creating & editing for future uploads first what I hope at some point in the future will generate some passive income. I wanted to get rid of my preinstalled phone dialer app by Google, because it just started messing w/ me leaving visual notifications on my screen when a call comes in & it can't be removed unless I restart the darn device & then it goes into the background notif.bar where it stays & says it can't be undone. And now my Google keyboard just started it's crap by not remembering words learned first spellcheck, which just makes writing a huge pain in the tuckus! So I'm replacing it with the Simple Phone Dialer app & getting rid of Google's phone & keyboard apps. So Google & I are breaking up, she's nuts!I'm done dealing w/ crazy people in my romantic life, as well as, in the intimate confines of my phone. I use my phone for writing, video capture, talking dirty to some of my "play buddies" & Google has lately just been making everything such a cumbersome chore I've decided to end the relationship & move on.

Have a great Wednesday!

Much appreciation!

M
