The tabs are no longer visible anywhere. Every single update makes Firefox worse. Who the hell is doing this? How am I supposed to use this browser? If you want me to switch browsers, just say so. Just pop up a dialog box that says "we do not want people using Firefox, please download another browser."

Screw it, I'm switching to Chrome. I just want tabs on bottom, and Mozilla has decided that this is absolutely forbidden. It's not worth wrestling with this garbage browser every time I want to restore this simple and obvious option after another update breaks it.

Are u using custom userChrome.css file? Does the issue happen in a Troubleshoot mode?

I don't care anymore. I'm tired of this. Firefox used to allow customization, and now it's banned entirely. I shouldn't have to use custom userChrome.css just to restore this basic feature. Mark it closed, whatever, y'all win. Users clearly don't matter, so why bother fighting?

For anyone who might come across this thread and have the same issue: This is most likely caused by script you've created in your userChrome.css file. Creating a userChrome.css file and other ways of customizing Firefox that are not exposed in the interface are there for developers, not end-users. If it were intended for end-users, you would see a menu option or checkbox; you wouldn't have to hack a text file in a hidden location.

What this means is that even though the functionality you want is no longer supported, a third-party has found a way to do it using the CSS file. If it breaks in new versions, you will need to contact the person who provided the script.

The code you currently use in userChrome.css is broken (you see the selected tab at the bottom of the screen), so you need newer code for your userChrome.css.
