What is not accepting the password? The website or the browser?

One user had a problem where Firefox did not store a password for one website. In the end, the user cleared the login data and keyed the password manually. That time it was properly stored.

Hi, thanks for assisting. When I am on Windows Firefox , when I go to log on to a website with password, it works no issues. When I'm on a MAC laptop and use Firefox to login to the same website it doesn't accept it. This is my issue that I've never had before. If you could assist further, it would greatly be appreciated, take care

On the Mac, do you have the option to view saved logins for the site to verify that the password is correct? Are you using Sync on both laptops?

Hi Thank you for replying to my issue. This is still ongoing and very strange its happening. No I dont seem to have the option to save passwords but will need to look in settings for this I guess. I manually enter and it does not accept it. The word in red appears below the log in details that simply says "error" like your entering the wrong details which I'm not doing, this I can guarantee. No sync on laptops as they arent usually near each other anyway so no syncing between the two. Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated, thanking you and take care,
