I would like to install thunderbird on a few user computers and have all the files save to the server but access from roaming profile on the server. Can it be setup this way? If yes, could you provide directions on the how. If not, can it be set up where each computer is only for one person but the entire profile is being saved to the server folder? Any help would be grateful. Thank you, Gordon

It should be easy to set up for a few, but would require a few manual steps unless you set up a preconfigured copy of TB that could be installed directly, i.e., registry entries, program files, appdata files. All that is required is for the profiles.ini to point to the drive and folder location on the server. That is, each PC still needs the appdata/roaming/thunderbird/profiles.ini file, but the profile could be on server. On first run, once the profile has been created, it could be moved to server - or- it may be possible to preconfigure the profile. Okay, there may be a few tweaks here and there, but readily done if for a small number of PCs.
