Web page stuck in broken desktop view after disabling the setting.

Samsung S21 with the latest version of Firefox installed, Switched to desktop view to access an option in my email thats not available on the mobile site and now firefox wont switch back to the mobile site.

If i enable desktop mode outlook.com will go to the full desktop version, but disabling the option gives me a merged version thats halfway between the two with broken buttons/links overlapping and basically a non usable site.

If you set the option at mobile view and refresh the page, does the websiet display in mobile view?

I literally said disabling firefox desktop view gives me a broken mixed desktop/mobile view. Ive refreshed a million times, and done everything short of completely wiping firefox from the device.

Their are no options on the web page to switch views, and outlook support basically told me to use their app which garbage.

Does this happen when you visit a specific website or does it happen on all of them?

This is specific to outlook.com. it's not affecting any other sites I use regularly though I rarely use the desktop site option in the first place.

After posting this question I remembered this exact issue occurred on chrome (previous phone over a year ago) which was the final push for me to switch to Firefox on mobile. And now both times outlook support (Microsoft) blamed the browser for the issue.

Interestingly as I was writing this I got a text from work to review something in my email and outlook had logged me out again( another side effect of the bug seems to be having to re login twice a day) and the problem fixed itself. It's back to the mobile view. No idea why.

It happens that some browsers do not work on some devices, and I have also experienced this issue, but I couldn't find an answer to it
