Unable to send emails.
My email was hacked. I immediately changed the password on my bt email account. It looks as if I can receive emails on Thunderbird but cannot send them. When I try to the following message comes up: Please check the password and verify Authentication method in Account Settins/Outgoing Server STMP.
The authentication method is ordinary password, but I can't find anywhere to check the password.

Check in tools>preferences>privacy&security. Locate the passwords and click show passwords. Then, right-click your account and click edit password.
