desktop : no of emails in InBox = 143 lap = no of emails in InBox = 11000
Why this happens?
Secondly, I repeatedly get a notification to downtown Thunderbird, which I have done several times and installation was successful. What is the reason for further download requests?

I suggest checking to see how each account is defined, whether POP or IMAP, and also to carefully review settings for each.
