Transferring bookmarks from laptop to macbook
Hi,
I want to transfer my bookmarks from Firefox on my old Windows laptop to a new MacBook. I have followed the instruction and signed into Firefox on both devices and click 'synchronise now' on my Macbook.
Nothing has happened.
I would be grateful if you could tell me whether I am doing things incorrectly and if you could tell me how to have my numerous Firefox bookmarks from Windows appear on the new Macbook.
Thank you!

Transferring bookmarks via Sync isn't instantly and it can take some time and you may have to wait longer.
Were you already using Sync to sync the bookmarks as in that case of a new sync this can take even longer?
If you still have access to the old device then you use a JSON backup or an HTML backup.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I only recently created a Firefox account even though I have used the browser for years, so never used the sync function.
I tried a back up and transferred the bookmark file to my new macbook on on an external disc. I followed the restore instructions but nothing happened.
Thank you both for your suggestions. I am just going to manually enter the laptop bookmarks onto the new macbook. It will take a while but I can clear out unused ones as I go.
Thank you again!
