Hi, I am trying to create a new account on a website with standard email, password, and retype password fields. I have checked the Suggest and generate strong passwords box, yet Firefox (v109.0 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) is not suggesting a password. I have tried left clicking and right clicking on both password and retype password fields to no avail. Help?

You can try Firefox from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution to see if it behaves differently.

I have the same problem but on a Mac running FF112.0. Did you ever get it to work? I'm going to post this question again.
