Hi!

System: Windows 10 Windows Language: English US Windows Region: Austria

Even though Region is Austria, PDF printing dialog shows inches for margins. I can't find a setting to change that. Firefox either needs to respect the region setting of Windows or include an own setting to choose units. I suppose it derives units from the language settings. That's obviously wrong.

Many Greetings! Remo

Another option would be to derive the units for the margin from the selected paper format. A4 is always mm.

Also, when selecting to print headers and footers, they don't respect the margin at all.

Does it help to use the system dialogue? Scroll down the dialogue you get with ctl+p and press "Print using the system dialogue". The following is a relevant article.

Hi Terry!

No, unfortunately not. I was not specific enough: I selected "Save to PDF" as the printer. That is no printer installed on the system. It's just Firefox functionality.

Many Greetings! Remo

Go to about:config in the address bar and create/edit print.printer_Mozilla_Save_to_PDF.print_paper_size_unit (Number) with value 1.

Thanks! At least Firefox now uses the proper units.
