Hi, I have moved to a new iPhone. I have got the Firefox app transferred over and have tried to synchronise having clicked the synchronise button. However, despite doing this several times only a handful of sign ins have come across. I have enabled facial recognition. I have on some occasions had a Firefox message screen come up: ‘To use the autofill feature for Firefox you must have a device passcode enabled’. I have tried googling this and am no better informed.

Hi Simon

Do you still have your data on your old iPhone?

Hi Paul, Yes, I still have the old phone (minus sim card which I transferred to the new one). I sometimes use it to log on quickly to a website.

Oh yeah. You can either just transfer all the stuff on your old phone to your new phone 100% (which you may not want to do)

I also realize there's some syncing issues!

Either just ignore it and wait for it to be fixed, but you could try the nuclear option and just signed out and made sure to delete all the data of a few places (i.e. laptop + phone)

Hi CookieMonster, The major issue is synchronising, with very few sign-ins having come across to my phone, despite having signed in to my Firefox account on the phone.

Hi Simon,

If you still have your old device, you may want to try sign out and uninstall the app from your new device (and remove the device from the Connected Services list from your Mozilla Account settings page. Just then, you may try to install the app again and login back.

Let me know if this work. I'll be happy to escalate this issue if this doesn't solve it.
