Mozilla Firefox search engine?
I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox to my iPad. I keep seeing DuckDuckGo as my browser. I want to change my search engine to Firefox but I don’t see Firefox as a listed search engine that I can choose from. Does Mozilla have its own search engine? I don’t want to use the other listed choices such as Google or Bing.

Hi Isabel, Mozilla does not operate its own Firefox search engine. Aside from Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo, you could experiment with other search engines like Qwant and Perplexity.

By the way, the browser you used to post your question identified itself as
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/16.5 Safari/605.1.15 Ddg/18.2
That DDG part at the end doesn't look like Firefox. Do you have this one? https://apps.apple.com/us/app/firefox-private-safe-browser/id989804926
Thank you. I kept downloading the app thinking there was a problem. Much appreciated.
You can choose from one the default search engines in the Firefox web browser for iOS/iPadOS. You can also manually add other search engines.

I moved this thread from Firefox (for desktop) to the Firefox for iOS/iPadOS section.
