missing day of email downloads
I have an earthlink email account. thunderbird downloaded email for 2025-01-24 and 2025-01-26 but has not downloaded messages for 2025-01-25. There are messages there when I go online to earthlink and check the account using my browser. The messages for the 25th are also visible in my android earthlink app. I use thunderbird as my archive for messages so really want to get these messages downloaded.

This is a POP account, right? I don't have an explanation for why it happened, but you may set up the account as IMAP if you want Thunderbird to always show what's on the server:
