This morning at 10:30 AM PDT when I opened Firefox browser, I got an arcade type of sound followed by a siren sound which will not go away until I shut down Firefox. Please help me get rid of this annoying sound!

Many posts this morning about this problem. I had it too, and uninstalled CoolPreview, based on another post that suggested I try that, and it seems to have worked.

Apparently the bug is in Cool Previews - they put up a bug fix on their site that you get to after uninstalling the program.

Ok here's one, I don't have cool preview. So what just disable all add-ons?

Uninstall CoolPreview seems to have stopped it.

Uninstall current Cool Preview then install new Cool Preview. They advised it was the craziest bug they had ever seen.

Google.com has a pacman game running today in honor of pacman's 30th anniversary. It auto plays for some, believe this caused some kind of bug on cool previews.
