I have to click: history > show all history > today. 3 clicks to see history, Is there a way to do it with one click?

I can reduce it to 2 clicks Andy!
Drag and drop the History icon to your toolbar (right click on your toolbar and select 'Customize'), when clicked it will open the sidebar and give you several viewing options, including 'Today'.
