GoogleMaps 'street view' won't display (Firefox 3.6.6). Street view Icon and streets with views available appear, but aerial/map window doesn't shift to street view. Any thoughts?

GoogleMaps 'street view' not working on Firefox 3.6.6. Street view icon and highlights for available street views appear, but GM doesn't switch to street view when icon is dragged to map. I have Trend Micro Internet Security installed, but no settings changes prior to this problem appearing.

Same problem. I have Windows Vista, with Mozilla 3.6.6 No problem with other navigators, as Internet Explorer.

A known problem with Flashblock add-on, temporary solution has beed posted here in support-forum and here of official plugin-page.

Add maps.google.com (or your country-domain) to Flashblock whitelist.

Hi.

I had the same problem - it turned out to be the Forecastbar enhanced add-on causing the issue.

FWIW

Thanks to Anonymous for the solution (adding the URL to the Flashblock add-on's 'whitelist').

Note that typing in 'www.googlemaps.com' (rather than the 'maps.google.com' Anon. refers to in his/her message) apparently doesn't work, even if that URL is included in the Flashblock white-list along with 'maps.google.com.

While Google automatically re-directs from 'www.googlemaps.com' to 'maps.google.com', the problem persisted until I used 'maps.google.com' as the FIRST address I called up.

Mysterious.

Street view not holding in version 12 of Firefox. It pops right back to overhead view. When will this get fixed? It's only 9 versions later???
