"Why can't I save any bookmarks and I can't delete a bookmark?"

For many days, I haven't been able to add a bookmark. When I click on "Bookmark This Page" nothing happens, I just see the page I am trying to bookmark. For the same amount of time I haven't been able to delete a bookmark. I right click, scroll down and left click on delete any nothing happens? Can anybody please help me? Thank you.
