Will accepting UPDATES for Windows 7 interfere with Firefox browser or other non-Microsoft programs, such as anti-spywares?
I am only trying to AVOID problems that I was informed could be caused by indiscriminately accepting UPDATES FOR WINDOWS 7. Nothing has happened yet. I have been ignoring Windows 7 updates in general and want to know if this is necessary in order to keep Firefox and Firefox add-ons, as well as other non-microsoft programs, i.e. anti-spyware and anti-virus, working properly?

it's very important that you keep windows 7 updated,this will not affect firefox or other programmes. not keeping windows 7 updated will leave you open to vulnerabilities such as malware infection.
