Why can't I download a file from the internet without sending it to a file?

When I try to download a file from the internet I am asked to save it. I do not want to save it, I want to download it and begin using the downloaded file right a way.

unfortunately Firefox does not have that option but like me you can use DAP to download your files,it's great and accelerate your downloads. link: www.speedbit.com
