Firefox cannot connect to the server. Wireless router is working fine as e-mail is working normally. Firefox used to run OK on the other PC (Windows Vista) Tried all the network and wireless connection trouble shooting. nothing changes. Windows firewall is configured to allow Firefox access.

You can still try to remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
