Firefox allows Google to translate pages without permission
I like to read the French newspapers in French, but I can no longer see any pages in a foreign language. Google is translating them automatically, and there is no way to turn it off. I uninstalled Google Toolbar, but it still happens. There is no setting I can find that will allow me to stop this from happening!

There is a Language menu at the left side of the http://lemonde.com site that opens this site if you select French : http://french.wn.com/
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.
- Shockwave Flash 10.0 r42
- Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_14 for Mozilla browsers
Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

Maybe update your Firefox 3.6.3 version as well (Help > Check for Updates).
