When I am on some sites Firefox gives me the message Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page? and then I have to click Allow. This happens on every single page on certain sites. How can I make this stop all together?

That does NOT work on a Mac. (There isn't an "options" item in the Tools menu.) Could someone please post how to solve the problem on Mac OS X, please?

Mac OSX: It's not in the preferences list, under Firefox. I know, I looked. Please somebody figure this out. It also won't led pages reload automatically, which is a less frequent pain but just as severe.

My problem is with Reload .... I don't mind clicking "Allow" for every page I am on - but as soon as I click allow, the same warning appears again. And again, again, again ... indefinitely. Doesn't Firefox remember this decision?

I have the same problem as rob.k. Some websites have the "firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading". When you get that, the page does not fully load. I end up with a never ending cycle of clicking allow. Would some one please get rid of this....

We should be able to activate or deactivate this on a site by site basis.

I also am having this problem with pages such as USATODAY. The warning box in the advanced features is un checked. Never happened in previous versions of FF

I also have this problem. Usually I click allow and the page loads. It's a little annoying but acceptable. Except, today on WebMD when I click accept I get a 'Yahoo! 404 - Page Not Found' page unless I start FF in safe mode with all Add Ons disabled. Even with this option unchecked it still redirects me to an error page. I've also noticed that I have click links more than once when that option IS checked. Very confusing and annoying.

cor-el, Thank you for the link to: Firefox > Preferences

It helped to interpret to 'Tools > Options' for me (using XP)
