silverlight not working with firefox 3.6.15
I haven't used silverlight yet as I can't get it going. Keep in mind I'm no computer boffin I just want ot be able to use artscow.com for making photo albums. When I try to view a page on artscow, which uses silverlight, I can see comments but no image which is silverlight not working. Very occasionally I'll get a grey screen saying silverlight has crashed but when I try to reload the page, I just get a blank screen. I use firefox 3.6.15 but it doesn't work in IE8 or chrome either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still not working. I'm running on windows 7. Have checked firewall that silverlight is allowed program and all is ok but still not working. I have avast as my anti virus software. Have done everything that I can think of, perhaps someone could help me out? Cheers!

No, a black screen loads but then goes white (blank) with nothing else.
The only thing I can think of is recommending that you visit a Silverlight support forum for help with that. Especially since it isn't working in any browser.
I can see the Silverlight plugin - 4.0.60129.0 - in your Installed Plugins list in More system details... to the right of your first posting, so it looks like it is installed for Firefox but it doesn't work with the Microsoft test page and the website you installed it for. I haven't used Siliverlight myself in a long time (and other than test pages at that), so I don't have any experience with it.
I uninstalled Silverlight after Microsoft jammed me with a Bing toolbar with the first Silverlight update I received. I never even came across a web page that needed Silverlight in the short time I had it installed, but MS just had to jam me with a toolbar I didn't want, to kill the chance that their stinkin plugin would ever be installed on any of my PC's in the future.

You can try to disable OOPP for the Silverlight plugin.
I've had the same problem when private browsing is turned on. As an example, https://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/out-of-browser/demo/ never fully loads when privately browsing. When private browsing is turned off it works for me.
I had the same issue with Netflix.
I uninstalled the last installed Silverlight version and installed the latest. It's working now.
However, the video isn't scaling with the browser window size. The wide screen is playback is outside the edges if the browser isn't full screen.
Why must things that worked not work?
silverlight testpage crashes firefox. My homepage hollandoc.nl was running fine on 3.6.14. I also can't reply or send a message in hotmail anymore. After downloading 3.6.15 same problem instantly accured in other browser (safari). All my plug-ins are fine.. what to do now?
