Yesterday and today Norton (my AV Software) blocked a known attack on my Laptop. Though the Source IP Address is the same, the attacking Site is different. The Attack Report, each time, said that it: "...resulted from \device\harddiskvolume3\program files (x86)\Mozzila Firefox\firefox.exe..."

I recently download the new update for Firefox and the attacks happened after this. I do have a Screen Shot picture of the attack report but did not want to publicy post that for security reasons.

Please let me know how I can send the details to the Development Team securely.

The Attacks have been blocked both times, but I have a concern for other users that may not have any or adequate Anti Virus protection.

The IP address of the Attacking site is 60.50.202.28

I am having the same problem. It started yesterday when I downloaded the new Firefox update. Now, every time I open my browser, I get a message from Norton saying that it blocked an attack on my computer. It lists the severity as "high". The attack report is the same: "...resulted from \device\harddiskvolume3\program files (x86)\Mozzila Firefox\firefox.exe...".

When I run a Norton check on the actual firefix.exe file, it lists it as trusted! Very confusing ... Am I being exposed to viruses by using this version of Firefox? I'm protected by Norton, but the attack messages are scary!
