Why does firefox keep redirecting me to sites I don't want to see instead of opening the one I want to see? About ready to get rid of firefox!
When I click on a link such as utube, firefox "redirects" me to some freaking search website instead.

I'm afraid to say it sounds like you've got some adware on your hands.
Some tools you'll want to start with are:
Download and run them. If something is preventing you from downloading them, download them on a computer that isn't infected and put them on a USB drive or CD-ROM.
