Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

• Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks for replying but I did get it fixed by reading a comment on how to fix it. I use a laptop and I accidently had on the laptop mouse as well as the portable mouse and that is what caused the problem. Maybe that will help someone else as well.
