Firefox 4 does not responds to pinching and zooming gestures on Macbook
Previous Firefox 3 , i was able to enlarge text size by using 2 finger gesture on my MacBook touchpad, But it does not work on FF4.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.
browser.gesture.pinch.in -> cmd_fullZoomReduce browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset browser.gesture.pinch.out -> cmd_fullZoomEnlarge browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> false
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
The pinchy add on automatically changes the about:config values, but as far as I know, Firefox still does not support smooth zooming! Its really frustrating trying to zoom in with the trackpad, only to have to do the same motion again and again incrementally. This is not good for usability for people that have arthritis, and it looks ugly as well.
You can add extra zoom values to get smoother zooming.
this truely works, but needs a restart of FF. the values I use are 0.3,0.34,0.38,0.42,0.46,0.5,0.54,0.58,0.62,0.66,0.7,0.74,0.78,0.82,0.86,0.9,0.94,0.98,1.02,1.06,1.1,1.14,1.18,1.22,1.26,1.3,1.34,1.38,1.42,1.46,1.5,1.54,1.58,1.62,1.66,1.7,1.74,1.78,1.82,1.86,1.9,1.94,1.98,2.02,2.06,2.1,2.14,2.18,2.22,2.26,2.3,2.34,2.38,2.42,2.46,2.5,2.54,2.58,2.62,2.66,2.7,2.74,2.78,2.82,2.86,2.9,2.94,3 just copy this and try.
