why don't images, or videos downloaded with FireFox mobile appear in my gallery on HTC desire, though they seem to be saved to the download folder on SD card?
I can open images, and videos (not tried audio) only through the downloads menu of FireFox mobile. when browsing my SD card contents it shows the saved files in the download folder, but neither the images, or videos appear in my gallery. text documents, and pdf files show up in wick office and off viewer lists respectively.

This should be fixed in the current beta which will be shipped as final on June 21st. The beta can be found in the market when searching for Firefox beta.

Thank you for your reply. It seems, however, that after a few days the items appear in the gallery. Not sure what conditions had to be, or were met, but the problem is solved for now. I did not try the beta, so that wasn't it. good to know a fix is in the works. Thanks again.
