Firefox cannot load websites but other programs can
Firefox cannot load any webpages, but IE can.
I have tried everything suggested. This problem happened befoer I updated Firefox and did not resolve after I updated firefox.
I tried changing internet settings, disabling firewall, and even disabling IVP6, but nothing is working.

- What exactly happens, or does not happen and do you get any error messages ?
- Is it all websites you have a problem with, or only some ?
- What happens if you work offline, can you load web pages that are saved on your own computer ?
(save something with IE, -as HTML web page files - maybe this page, then try opening it with both Firefox and IE)
Can you use firefox to look at your local disk such as (depending on your setup) file:///C:/
Try checking security settings, and security logs, is firefox being blocked ?
I have visited the website and nothing that is suggested works. I think it has to do with my internet settings. I have tried disabling my firewall with no effect. I am not using a proxy and selected automatic option for proxy.
I get the error message "Unable to connect" and no page will load. It is with all webpages I can work offline to see .html pages I can see local disk files
Firefox is NOT being blocked in my security settings Please help!
