I can not access my yahoo mail from Firefox. Please help!
Whenever I try to access my yahoo mail from Firefox, the web page will go blank, shows Bad Request on the tab. Even though I typed in mail.yahoo.com, it will redirect to http://us.mg3.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.rand=fsin1cuq7mo5j. It will not load my yahoo mail, even though I can access it from my Safari in the same computer. I can access my google mail without any problem and access to other web mails without any problem.
I can access Yahoo.com and any of their links work for me, except the mail. Every time when I click on mail, it will do the same thing as I described above. Please help. Thank you so much!

I have the exact problem; had it for months and i contacted yahoo thinking its from them but they made me try several things and no result. I can access yahoo email from INTERNET EXPLORER which is very inconvenient because i had to re-start using it in order to access my personal email. I have attached the error page i get when i fill in my yahoo id and password. The weird thing is that, if you go to www.yahoo.com AFTER signing in and getting this error, you appear to be signed in and u can see your yahoo updates but STILL cannot access your email.
I really hope a solution can be found SOON! I am fed up of opening internet explorer in parallel just to access yahoo email!
MEANWHILE, for those who want to keep accessing their account from firefox, use this link:
http://mlogin.yahoo.com/w/login/user?_done=widget%3Aygo-mail%2Fhome.bp&.intl=us&.lang=en&_httpHost=us.m.yahoo.com
It lets you see your emails but its much more simplistic!
Thanks a lot for sharing! The link you provided works on Firefox, but it is not exactly the same way I wanted. I hope someone can give us a solution.
All of a sudden this past Monday when I attempt to login to yahoo nothing happens. The yahoo sign in comes up but when I enter my username and password and click on it, nothing happens. I know this is a firefox problem as I have no trouble when I use Internet Explorer.
I too have the exact same problem. It seemed to have started with version 7.
I have the same problem for ~3 months now. I think it might be a problem with my Norton 360 security software, but not sure how to solve it. When I click on login in Yahoo email nothing happens and it goes nowhere, but no such problem when I use IE or Chrome. I would like to use Firefox if I could but this problem is really annoying.

- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Also try the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:
Check and tell if its working.
Thanks for the tips, but unfortunately after trying all of the steps Firefox still can only log into Yahoo mail once in a while, but I just can't seem to find the reason why sometimes it still works (rare occasions).
- Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
- Fix login issues on websites that require a username and password
Check and tell if its working.

I too was not able to access Yahoo mail inbox. I went into history and cleared the cache. It now works!
I registered so that I could help someone like me who is so frustrated with this new Firefox 12 for my iMac and all of the problems associated with trying to access my Yahoo mail. I too have NO problems with Yahoo mail using Safari.
I have found that when I can't get into my Yahoo mail for whatever reason, I close the Yahoo mail tab, I go to the Firefox pull down menu and I click on "preferences", then I click on the "Privacy" tab at the top of the new window, then I click on "Show Cookies". When the new window pops open I scroll down and click on "mail.yahoo.com" and select "Remove Cookies" I do not select "remove all cookies". Then I scroll down some more and find "yahoo.com" and select "remove cookies" and lastly I do the same for "yahoo.net". (BTW, what IS yahoo.net?)
Today I was using Firefox 12 and Yahoo mail had me accept a new privacy policy which stated,
"Before you can access Yahoo! Mail, we need your consent to our new Terms of Service and the Yahoo! Mail Privacy Policy. Learn more about how we protect your privacy."
I would click on "I Accept" numerous times but again NOTHING happened! So I closed the window and tossed my (Yahoo) cookies, opened up Yahoo mail. voila!
