FF consistently provides me with 'spare' pages when restoring a Session: Blank Tab(s) <and> 'Firefox Updated' webpage.

Sometimes I get multiple Blank Tabs opened when restoring a Session.

Also, FF consistently re-opens "Firefox Updated" webpage with each restored Session. Perhaps more ironic/entertaining is fact that despite having updated to FF 5.0, the "FF Updated" page references version 3.6.16 !?!

Any way to fix this ... or should I just be appreciative of the free 'extras' provided with each Session??

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and all open tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
