Hotmail inbox home page loads, but is frozen, and I cannot open or use any of its functions. I have to revert to MSInternet Expl to use hotmail.

I have the latest level MF. I have not used this particular PC for some 6 weeks, but by using a laptop elsewhere have accessed Hotmail OK, and not let a backlog of mail clog up the system. Having returned to this PC, where I have Hotmail as my home default page, I go on-line and cannot use my email on MF. All other websites access OK in MF. I have cleared all recent history etc but it has not changed anything. I am not a computer nerd, I just want to get my Hotmail back in MF, following simple advice!

I have an XP and used Hotmail today and yesterday. There seem to have been some changes recently with how attachments are handled (for example you add photographs to emails) but the basic Hotmail and its inbox seem to be functioning fine.

"I have the latest level MF" what is MF?

MF = Mozilla Firefox

I have noticed a post about the inbox not updating unless refreshed: /questions/854993 it seems MS (Microsoft) have been making changes that affect [MF !] Firefox users, but my Hotmail continues to work.

Sorry I forgot to try to offer advice on getting Hotmail working again, try clearing the cache

if that fails to improve matters,also try clearing the cookies for the Hotmail site (same article has links to info about that).
