When I try to print an online billing statement, or other similar document, it prints out in 3 or 4 pages, not just one, with part of the statement on each page.

Problem still exists. I reset the printer (about:config); installed & ran FixCleaner, although there were no spool error messages. Other headings didn't apply. When I go to Print Preview, it shows one page split into 3 or 4. This may have originated with the last Firefox update? Tried to print the screen with your solutions list & it printed 30 pages!!

Did you reset all the preferences for that printer? That should have cleared the wrong or broken setting.

You probably have "custom" paper size selected in Properties for that printer when accessed through Firefox; those settings are saved separate from system defaults so setting or checking them outside of Firefox won't change it in Firefox.

Another thing that could cause that is super wide or b0rked margin settings that only show up in about:config; the reason for my recommending the reset of all the preferences for that printer.

Forget about "Fix" programs, about all they might do is to break Firefox even further than your existing problem.

How do I reset ALL printer settings? The original info just mentioned to reset print.print_printer. I'm doing everything the same way as before this problem arose; just selecting Print Preview & which pages to print, not changing any settings.

Nothing fixed the print problem. Traced inception of problem to installation of new FF 6. Uninstalled that & reinstalled FF 3.6.20. Printing is perfect. Firefox, please work on this issue. the_edmeister, thanks for your help.
