Can you post a link if the page doesn't require authentication?

I am not sure what authentication is? and also I do not know how to check what other elements or how to check to cover my links..I am truly not computer savvy. Just trying to learn the ropes.

That means that you have to login to access the page and see that content.
In that case we won't be able to inspect the page and test if it works.

If elements on a page can't be clicked the it is usually because another element is covering it.
If there is floating content then make sure that you use a clear:both rule, especially for the footer.

If you give the address of the site that is a problem, at least we can have a look at it. If it is something that someone else designed/coded for you maybe it would be worth consulting them.
