I am a person that likes to have 4 tabs at once so i have couple open to like gmail, facebook then i have couple open to other sites like my webpage that i am working on. The tabs get stuck loading just stuck even if i go back to another tab and try to navigate to another website it just stays. However if close firefox and open the sites back open that work just fine... untill it gets stuck again... this is a thing that happens often...

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.

Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
