I utilize the profile manager to use Firefox efficiently. I have one profile for general surfing which is utilized in total privacy browser mode. The other I use for an online game site exclusively. I have been using a tool called mozillacacheview. I have notice that there are literally thousands of files designated no-cache which are stored within _cache_001, _cache_002 and _cache_003. How can I remove these files from the cache_00? files without deleting my entire cache. Is there a tool that can do this?

Only large image and media files are stored as individual files on disk.
Other files are stored in a few large container files (_CACHE_XXX_) in the cache folder and not as separate files on disk.
The individual files on disk have random names without a file extension for security reasons: you can't open an application or start a downloaded virus inadvertently by clicking a file in the cache folder.

I am very much aware as to why they are stored in this manner. But, when I play this game for a few days there are literally thousands of these entries. If I use mozillacacheview I can delete the files that are stored on disk but not the entries stored in the cache_00? files. Is there a tool that will allow me to remove these entries.

Secondly, if I new the structure of the cache_00? files I could write a utility myself, that will also adjust the size of the cache_00? files as well.
