"Remember me" means that the user-id and password will be saved. not that it will keep you logged in or automatically log you in.
I don't have Facebook, but for Google, you will probably find that it won't fill in your userid/password for you immediately and you may have to click on sign-in as another user, then select the user-id you need and the login password should work then.
